It'd be great to have full OneNote templates on Mac, Web, and mobile, but for now this workaround gives you most of the features of templates today. My system setting used to be my native language (lang1), but my wife and son speak only English (lang2) so I changed my settings so we all can understand menus, etc. It seems OneNote tries to follow system settings for language (please correct me and tell me there is a switch somewhere?).
